I am writing to you to inform you of a brand new App called mobile112. It was created by a dyslexic man to assist other dyslexics. It is like assistive technology for people with dyslexia, reading difficulties, dysgraphia, auditory processing disorders, processing speed deficits and expressive and/or receptive language disorders.

There is a PowerPoint presentation and further information at www.mobile112.net, that explains all its features for your review. Some of those features !include! reading text messages aloud and help creating new ones, taking a picture of any text and having it read back to you, creating your own categories with icons, and then your own phrases for your categories to read them for you and reading anything aloud to you on the internet. It reads anything on the internet for you! It also translates into multiple languages. My own boys who are both dyslexic and all my students love mobile112 for use with their dyslexia and we have been using them in our schools. There is a free trial version on Google Play if you wanted to try it out on your phone or tablet. Try it! It will really help so many students and adults with dyslexia!!
